Riyadh: "Projecton," the first student-led hackathon in project management at a Saudi university, has been launched at King Saud University. The event brings together 30 student teams to compete across three key project management sectors: real estate, technology, and legal.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the three-day event includes panel discussions and workshops focused on professional project management tools, featuring the participation of industry specialists and experts. The hackathon underscores the critical economic significance of project management as a core competency in today's competitive job market. It aims to connect students with real-world experiences provided by leading national companies, enhance teamwork skills, and strengthen partnerships between universities and the private sector.
