KSGAAL Launches ‘Arabic Language Month’ in Kazakhstan

Almaty: The Arabic Language Month program, organized by the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL) in Kazakhstan, commenced on October 1 and will run until October 31, 2025. The initiative is part of the academy's scientific project aimed at supporting the Arabic language, teaching it to non-native speakers, and enhancing educational and cultural cooperation between Saudi Arabia and international academic institutions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the opening ceremony featured a speech by KSGAAL Secretary-General Dr. Abdullah Al-Washmi, who emphasized that the program reflects the academy's vision of promoting Arabic as a language of knowledge, culture, and communication. He noted that this initiative highlights the academy's collaboration with its partners in Kazakhstan to strengthen the Arabic language's presence in academic forums.

The implementation of this program builds on a long-standing partnership between the academy and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. This partnership previously led to the signing of a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in teaching and promoting the Arabic language within Kazakh academic institutions. It also follows a training program previously conducted by the academy in Kazakhstan, in which several university professors participated, underscoring the deepening academic and cultural ties between the two countries.
