KSGAAL Organizes Conference on Challenges of Teaching Arabic Language and Literature

Riyadh: The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL), in collaboration with the Korean Association of Arabic Language and Literature and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), is organizing, on May 9-10 in Seoul, the Republic of Korea, an international conference on challenges and prospects for teaching Arabic language and literature. KSGAAL endeavors to contribute to the spread of Arabic language around the world, and to help Arabic keep pace with changes in all fields, as well as to foster an environment conducive to the development and consolidation of Arabic language, and to encourage researchers and specialists. The upcoming conference will delve into six key areas related to teaching Arabic language as a second language in Korea: modern methodologies, teaching materials, evaluation techniques, teaching techniques, the current landscape of Arabic language learning in Korea, and linguistic planning. KSGAAL collaborates with the Korean Association of Arabic Language and Literature a nd HUFS, which are Korea's leading institutions teaching the Arabic language and showing interest in Arabic culture. KSGAAL plays an important role in issues related to the Arabic language by connecting with entities interested in the Arabic language abroad; it does so by facilitating the teaching and learning of Arabic in the Kingdom and abroad.
