KSrelief and UN Women Successfully Conclude Women’s Protection Initiative in Aden

Aden: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), in collaboration with UN Women, has successfully concluded the "Protecting Women Leads to Societal Development" project in Aden. This initiative aimed at enhancing institutional capacity while providing direct support services to vulnerable women and girls across Yemen.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the project accomplished significant milestones, including the training of 325 staff members from 69 government and civil society organizations. These individuals were equipped with skills in gender-based violence case management and psychosocial support. Furthermore, the initiative established four community protection centers located in Taiz, Mocha, and Aden, which collectively served 19,582 women and girls. These centers were instrumental in delivering over 12,000 psychosocial sessions, offering more than 3,000 legal consultations, and facilitating over 1,000 referrals to specialized services.
