KSrelief and WHO Collaborate to Boost Nutrition Services in Gaza

Gaza: Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, and Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, signed a joint executive program via video meeting to enhance nutrition services in primary healthcare centers and hospitals in the Gaza Strip.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program aims to improve the health and nutritional situation by providing treatment for Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) cases. This will be achieved through the distribution of integrated SAM/PED medical kits, essential medical supplies, nutritional supplements, vitamins, minerals, special nutritional formulas, and parenteral nutrition solutions to health facilities across Gaza. The initiative is expected to directly benefit 258,223 individuals and indirectly benefit 1,172,467 individuals.

This program is part of the Kingdom's humanitarian and relief projects implemented through KSrelief in cooperation with WHO to advance the health sector in Palestine and improve medical services for the Palestinian people.
