KSrelief Completes Rehabilitation of Veterinary Center in Al-Mahrah Governorate

Al-mahrah: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully rehabilitated the veterinary center building in Qishn District, Al-Mahrah Governorate, as part of its ongoing efforts to support sustainable agriculture and fisheries in Yemen. The initiative was completed two days ago, aimed at enhancing resilience in the region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the rehabilitation involved a comprehensive restoration of the existing center, alongside the construction of an additional laboratory. Furthermore, the operations room and other facilities at the center were furnished and equipped, while a perimeter wall and main gate were also constructed. This project seeks to improve the efficiency of veterinary services, which are crucial for the development of livestock-a vital component of the local economy and a primary source of livelihood for thousands of families in the governorate.

This rehabilitation is part of a wider effort by KSrelief, covering four veterinary centers in Hadhramaut, Al-Mahrah, and Shabwah. These initiatives are among the numerous humanitarian and development projects funded by Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, aimed at bolstering livelihoods and enhancing essential services across Yemen's various governorates.
