KSrelief Completes Successful Pediatric Heart Surgery Project in Tangier

Tangier: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) carried out a volunteer medical project focused on pediatric open-heart surgery and cardiac catheterization in Tangier, Morocco, from December 6 to 13, with a team of 23 volunteers covering multiple medical specialties.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during this initiative, the volunteer medical team from KSrelief successfully completed 20 open-heart surgeries and 43 cardiac catheterization procedures on children. Each procedure was carried out successfully, showcasing the team's dedication and expertise.

This project is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's broader volunteer medical initiatives spearheaded by KSrelief. These initiatives aim to support low-income families and individuals in need by providing them with specialized medical care, particularly targeting vulnerable groups in various countries.
