KSrelief Concludes 4 Volunteer Medical Projects in Port Sudan

Port sudan: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded four volunteer medical projects to combat blindness in the Republic of the Sudan, as part of the Saudi Noor Volunteer Program to prevent blindness and its causes.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the projects were implemented in the city of Port Sudan from December 12 to 20, with the participation of eight volunteers from various medical specialties. During the campaign, the medical team performed 150 retinal injection procedures, 30 glaucoma surgeries, 200 minor surgical procedures, and 150 laser treatments, all of which were completed successfully.

This initiative is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts, through its humanitarian arm KSrelief, to support the medical sector and assist patients suffering from eye diseases in brotherly and friendly countries.
