Faridpur: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has concluded the Saudi Noor Volunteer Project aimed at combating blindness and related diseases in Faridpur, Bangladesh, in collaboration with the World Sight Foundation.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the KSrelief volunteer medical team conducted examinations on 8,861 patients, performed 610 cataract surgeries, and distributed 3,061 eyeglasses as part of the initiative.
This project is part of a broader effort by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, to execute humanitarian and relief projects. These initiatives seek to bolster the medical sector and provide much-needed assistance to low-income patients suffering from eye diseases in countries considered friendly and brotherly to Saudi Arabia.
