KSrelief Distributes 530 Cartons of Dates to Afghan Returnees in Kabul and Nangarhar

Kabul: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 530 cartons of dates to 3,180 individuals, including Afghan returnees from Pakistan and Iran, in Kabul and Nangarhar provinces. This initiative is part of a larger 2026 project aimed at distributing 300 tons of dates across Afghanistan, demonstrating the Kingdom's ongoing humanitarian commitment to alleviating the suffering of the Afghan people.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the distribution of dates is a significant effort by KSrelief to provide essential food assistance to Afghan returnees who have faced numerous challenges upon their return from Pakistan and Iran. The project reflects a targeted approach to support those in need as Afghanistan continues to navigate complex humanitarian issues.

This initiative underscores the broader objective of the 2026 project to ensure food security for vulnerable populations in Afghanistan. By distributing 300 tons of dates, KSrelief aims to reach a wide demographic, providing much-needed relief to those affected by ongoing socio-economic difficulties in the region.
