KSrelief Initiates Surgical Operations Project in Gaza Strip

Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), in cooperation with the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, implemented an emergency surgical operations project at Al-Quds Hospital and Al Ahli Arab Hospital from May 19 to November 19, 2026, as part of the Saudi campaign to provide relief to the Palestinian people. Since the launch of the project, the medical team has performed 119 surgeries across various medical specialties, all of which were successfully completed.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative is part of KSrelief's ongoing efforts to support healthcare infrastructure in the region. The project targets critical surgical needs and aims to enhance the capacity of local hospitals in providing emergency medical care. The operations conducted have addressed a range of urgent medical conditions, alleviating the burden on local healthcare facilities and improving patient outcomes.

The collaboration between KSrelief and the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage highlights the importance of international cooperation in humanitarian efforts. By pooling resources and expertise, both organizations have contributed significantly to the welfare of the Palestinian people, ensuring timely medical interventions in a region with pressing healthcare challenges.
