KSrelief Launches Eye Health Initiative in Cameroon

Yaound©: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has initiated the Saudi Noor Volunteer Program to address issues of blindness and eye diseases in Yaound©, Republic of Cameroon. The program ran from April 8 to 15, focusing on providing essential eye care services to the local population.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program's volunteer medical team conducted eye examinations for 4,679 beneficiaries. As part of the initiative, 926 pairs of eyeglasses were distributed to those in need, and 448 surgical procedures were performed to improve the vision of affected individuals.

This program is one of many humanitarian and relief efforts carried out by the Kingdom, through KSrelief, aiming to bolster healthcare support and assist individuals grappling with eye diseases in countries with friendly ties.
