Riyadh:Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has signed a cooperation agreement to implement an orphan care project in the Syrian Arab Republic.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the agreement was signed via video conference by KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General of Operations and Programs, Eng. Ahmed Al-Baiz.
The project aims to provide monthly financial support for orphans, ensuring their basic needs for food, housing, healthcare, and education are met. Additionally, it includes recreational activities and the distribution of toys, school bags, and stationery, benefiting 1,000 orphans in the governorates of Deir ez-Zor, Homs, and Hama.
This initiative is part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing humanitarian and relief efforts, through KSrelief, to support the Syrian people, focus on orphan care, alleviate their suffering, and provide essentials for a decent life.
