A volunteer medical team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) successfully completed 28 pediatric heart surgeries in Alexandria, Egypt, from September 24 to 30. The procedures included 23 open-heart surgeries and five cardiac catheterizations, all performed with a 100% success rate. The surgeries were part of a volunteer medical project aimed at providing life-saving heart procedures for children from low-income families. Fourteen volunteers from various medical specialties participated in the mission. The project is a continuation of KSrelief's broader efforts to provide critical healthcare services in various medical fields to individuals and families in need around the world.
