KSrelief Team Inspects Key Medical Units at Port Sudan Children’s Teaching Hospital

Port Sudan:A team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) visited the intensive care and neonatal units at Port Sudan Children's Teaching Hospital, which the center funds. The visit took place in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Sudan, Dr. Zaid bin Makhlad Al-Harbi, and several officials.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the team inspected the hospital's pediatric intensive care unit, currently the only one of its kind in Sudan, and the neonatal unit. The neonatal unit is equipped with numerous beds, incubators, warmers, and modern medical equipment to ensure comprehensive healthcare for children.

The KSrelief team also observed the work of medical personnel, including specialists, general practitioners, nurses, and medical students, who utilize the hospital's advanced equipment and technology.

Additionally, KSrelief has supported the hospital by establishing an oxygen station and a water desalination station at the neighboring Accident Teaching Hospital. These facilities have enhanced medical services and facilitated the activation of the pediatric dialysis center.
