Kuwait city: The State of Kuwait has issued a strong condemnation of the recent attacks perpetrated by the Houthi militia on Saudi Arabian cities, including Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Taif. These assaults involved the use of ballistic missiles and drones, leading to injuries among civilians and causing material damage to residential properties and vehicles.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement today, labeling the attacks as a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and a breach of both international law and international humanitarian law. The ministry's statement underscored Kuwait's unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for any actions taken to preserve the kingdom's sovereignty, security, stability, and interests.
The statement further emphasized that the security of Saudi Arabia is inherently linked to the security of Kuwait and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. Kuwait expressed its commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia in safeguarding its citizens and residents in the face of these threats.
