Kuwait Condemns Houthi Attacks on Saudi Arabian Airports

Hanoi:Kuwait has strongly condemned the recent Houthi attacks on Abha and King Khalid international airports, which led to several civilian casualties and injuries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Thursday describing these attacks as a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and a breach of both international and international humanitarian law.

Kuwait expressed its unequivocal rejection of these repeated assaults targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure. The ministry called for an immediate cessation of such attacks.

The statement also reaffirmed Kuwait's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support for all measures the Kingdom undertakes to protect its sovereignty, security, and its citizens and residents. Furthermore, it emphasized that the security of Saudi Arabia is a fundamental element of Kuwait’s security as well as that of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
