Madinah Municipality Boosts Efforts to Ensure Pilgrim Safety

Madinah: The Madinah Regional Municipality is ramping up its field efforts in preparation for the 1446 AH Hajj season, which sees a significant influx of pilgrims visiting Madinah to pray at the Prophet's Mosque and explore various Islamic sites and landmarks. These efforts are part of a comprehensive plan aimed at ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for the pilgrims.

According to Saudi Press Agency, with over 5,000 personnel working around the clock and 450 pieces of equipment, the municipality is carrying out extensive cleaning operations throughout the city. Focus areas include squares, roads, and the central area surrounding the Prophet's Mosque, in addition to the upkeep of public parks, recreational spaces, and historical landmarks.
