Madinah: Madinah police officers have arrested four Indonesian residents for defrauding individuals by falsely claiming to offer Hajj sacrificial animal slaughter (Hady) for a fee. Legal action has been taken against them, and they have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Public Security cautions against fraudulent social media advertisements offering Hajj services on behalf of others, such as providing Hady sacrifices, selling Hajj bracelets, and arranging transportation, often by fake individuals and entities. It stressed that those found violating regulations will be prosecuted.
Citizens and residents are reminded to comply with Hajj regulations and report violations by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, and 999 in the other regions.
