Madinah Region Governor Launches Preliminary Rounds of 27th King Salman Local Quran Competition

Madinah: Madinah Region Governor Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz today launched the preliminary rounds of the local competition for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Award for the Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation of the Holy Quran for boys and girls, in its 27th edition for this year.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the governor highlighted the great care the wise leadership places on the Holy Quran and its continued support for Quranic competitions and programs. He noted the role these initiatives play in nurturing Quran memorizers, reinforcing Islamic values, and encouraging younger generations to memorize the Holy Quran, master its recitation, and reflect on its meanings.
