Madinah: Governor of Madinah Region and Chairman of the Permanent Hajj and Umrah Committee, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, emphasized the Kingdom's commitment to facilitating the pilgrimage experience during his visit to the Pilgrims' Welcome and Reception Center on Hijrah Road. Prince Salman highlighted the Kingdom's dedication to ensuring that pilgrims can perform their rituals smoothly and peacefully.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the governor was accompanied by Deputy Region Governor Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz and several officials during the inspection. Prince Salman credited the continuous improvements in the Hajj and Umrah ecosystem to the support and directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. He underscored their determination to enhance services for pilgrims, ensuring a seamless journey from arrival to departure.
During his tour, Prince Salman assessed the readiness of the center and the services available to pilgrims arriving in Madinah via Hijrah Road. This includes the procedures for arrivals and transportation to accommodations. The visit is part of ongoing efforts to monitor and improve services for pilgrims, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program.
