Macao: Madinah participated in the 2026 International Cities of Gastronomy Fest in Macao, as part of efforts by the Madinah Region Development Authority to strengthen its international presence in culture and creative tourism and showcase its rich culinary heritage.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the participation aimed to highlight Madinah's culinary identity as a member of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network for gastronomy, promote its heritage, and enhance cooperation and knowledge exchange with other cities, supporting the development of cultural tourism.
The festival served as a global platform that highlights the diversity of food cultures and provides opportunities for professionals to connect and share experiences in leveraging gastronomy for cultural and tourism development.
