Makkah: The Holy Makkah Municipality has commenced the process of receiving applications from catering contractors for the upcoming 1448 AH Hajj season. This initiative began on Saturday, Rabi Al-Thani 1, 1448 AH, as a part of the municipality's efforts to enhance service readiness for pilgrims and improve operational efficiency in line with established standards of quality and food safety.
According to Saudi Press Agency, applications are currently being collected through the electronic contractor qualification platform, accessible at easha.hmm.gov.sa. The municipality has urged entities interested in providing catering services to complete and update their information in line with the approved qualification requirements and adhere to the specified technical and administrative regulations to obtain application approval.
The qualification process is designed to ensure the provision of safe, high-quality food services and to bolster operational readiness for the Hajj season. This will be achieved by implementing technical standards and oversight mechanisms that enhance the safety of the catering system and improve the efficiency of its operations.
