Makkah Municipality Prepares Parks to Welcome Visitors During Eid Al-Fitr Holiday

Makkah: The Holy Makkah Municipality has completed its arrangements to prepare public parks and recreational areas in Makkah to receive residents and visitors during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, as part of its ongoing efforts to provide safe and well-equipped recreational facilities for families.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the preparations included maintenance and rehabilitation works in several parks and municipal plazas, covering the care of green spaces, pruning of trees and plants, maintenance of irrigation networks, as well as servicing children's play areas, walkways, seating facilities, and lighting to ensure the sites are fully ready during the holiday.

Field teams affiliated with the municipality have intensified cleaning, landscaping, and urban beautification efforts, in addition to monitoring the readiness of service facilities within parks and recreational areas. These efforts aim to provide a suitable leisure environment that enhances quality of life and offers open spaces for recreation for residents and visitors in Makkah.
