Makkah Police Arrest 18 Residents for Forging Residency Permits, Nusuk Cards, Hajj Wristbands

Makkah: Makkah Region Police arrested 18 residents of Afghan and Pakistani nationalities for forging residency permits, Nusuk cards, and Hajj wristbands, took legal measures against them, and referred them to the Public Prosecution.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the General Directorate of Public Security urged all citizens and residents to comply with Hajj regulations and instructions. They have also encouraged reporting any violations by calling specific emergency numbers. For incidents occurring in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, individuals are asked to call 911, while for the rest of the Kingdom, they should use 999.

The authorities stressed the importance of maintaining the sanctity and security of the Hajj by ensuring all participants adhere to the rules and regulations. The arrests underscore the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to preserve the integrity of religious gatherings and protect the rights and safety of legitimate pilgrims.
