Makkah Police Arrest Four Residents, Citizen for Promoting Fake Hajj Services

Makkah: Makkah Region Police arrested four residents of Lebanese and Egyptian nationalities and one Saudi citizen for committing fraud by posting fake and misleading advertisements for Hajj services on social media. Cash, computers, stamps, forged documents, and tools used in the scheme were seized, and the suspects were referred to the Public Prosecution.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the General Directorate of Public Security called on all to adhere to Hajj regulations and instructions, and to report violators through the unified number 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern regions, and through the unified number 999 in the rest of the Kingdom's regions.
