Makkah: The Makkah Route Initiative team in Bangladesh's capital, Dhaka, continues its efficient and professional work to facilitate procedures and provide ease and reassurance to pilgrims by streamlining entry processes to Saudi Arabia for this year's Hajj.
According to Saudi Press Agency, leveraging advanced technologies, the initiative enables pilgrims to complete their travel procedures smoothly before departure, allowing seamless arrival through King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah or Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah.
Bangladeshi pilgrims have praised the efforts made by Saudi Arabia through the initiative at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, highlighting the warm reception and efficient facilitation of procedures. They expressed appreciation for the Kingdom's continued efforts in serving pilgrims.
The Makkah Route Initiative is one of the Ministry of Interior's programs, implemented under the Pilgrim Experience Program within Saudi Vision 2030 in cooperation with several government entities. The initiative has seen significant expansion, offering services to pilgrims across 10 countries through 17 international airports this year. It reflects the Kingdom leadership's longstanding commitment to caring for Hajj pilgrims and enhancing the services provided to them.
The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) provides technical support to the initiative by supplying devices supported by advanced digital technologies, incorporating data and artificial intelligence solutions. These systems facilitate departure procedures at airports in participating countries, including Morocco, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Trkiye, C´te d'Ivoire, the Maldives, Senegal, and Brunei. SDAIA has reaffirmed its commitment to developing its technical systems under the initiative to accommodate the growing number of Hajj pilgrims and ensure high-quality services.
