Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) will announce on Monday the expected weather conditions and prominent climate phenomena for the 1447 AH Hajj season. The announcement is anticipated to provide crucial insights into the climatic conditions that will prevail in the holy sites during the pilgrimage.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the upcoming announcement will present detailed climate forecasts, including temperature, humidity levels, wind patterns, and the likelihood of cloud or dust formation. This information will be vital for relevant authorities as they work to strengthen preventative plans and field preparations for the Hajj season.
NCM spokesperson Hussein Al-Qahtani stated that the center continues its operations around the clock using an advanced system for monitoring, early warning, and climate data analysis. He emphasized that the center is dedicating all its technical and human resources to weather monitoring to support pilgrim safety and enable partner agencies to take proactive operational measures based on precise data.
