Riyadh: Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha held a meeting with Chairman and CEO of Lenovo Yuanqing Yang to enhance cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, and advanced infrastructure.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening the partnership to leverage Lenovo's expertise in developing AI-powered personal computers (AI PCs). The collaboration aims at enabling knowledge transfer and national capacity building, supporting research and development initiatives, and expanding local industrial content, all in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The discussion also addressed opportunities for joint investment in advanced manufacturing and the localization of emerging technologies. These efforts are expected to contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy and support the growth of the innovation ecosystem in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
