Minister of Communications Discusses Saudi-U.S. Partnership in Clean Technologies

Riyadh: Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Abdullah Alswaha met with U.S. Undersecretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment Jacob Helberg, in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to the United States Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan. The meeting was part of ongoing efforts to bolster the strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States, focusing on the digital economy, clean technologies, and innovation.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions centered around cooperation in sustainable technology development, support for innovative initiatives in energy, environment, and the digital economy, and exploration of opportunities that contribute to global sustainable development. The participants emphasized the Kingdom's expanding role as a key partner in advancing the global shift towards a more sustainable economy.
