Riyadh: The second Social Responsibility Forum, themed "Media: Reality and Responsibility," is set to take place on November 20-21 under the patronage of Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary. Organized by the Social Responsibility Association, the event will be hosted at the lecture and conference hall in the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) in Riyadh. According to Saudi Press Agency, Chairman of the Association's Board of Directors, Saud bin Hussein Al-Subaie, stated that the forum aims to spotlight the media's role in social responsibility across traditional and modern platforms within the public, private, and non-profit sectors. The event will explore media strategies for social responsibility, showcase real-world examples, and discuss challenges facing the industry in fulfilling these roles. Key topics for the forum include regulations, media policy, the Printing and Publication Law, and strategies to strengthen social responsibility in print, radio, television, and social media. An elite group of experts, acade mics, and professionals in media and social responsibility will share insights on current achievements, challenges, and future directions. The event will also mark the launch of the Social Responsibility Podcast in partnership with MBC Group. Honorary President of the Social Responsibility Association, Princess Hessa bint Salman bin Abdulaziz, expressed gratitude to Minister Al-Dossary for his support, wishing the forum success in achieving its goals. The forum is expected to attract numerous officials and stakeholders interested in advancing the role of media in social responsibility.
