Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Finalizes Pilgrims’ Stoning Schedules for Tashreeq Days

Makkah: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has completed the distribution of timetables for the pilgrims' stoning rituals. This comes as part of its preparations to organize the movement of pilgrims during the days of Tashreeq, ensuring the highest standards of safety and smooth flow, and contributing to improving the pilgrims' experience in the holy sites.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this step comes within an integrated strategy prepared by the Ministry to manage the pilgrims' stoning rituals during the 1446 AH Hajj season, based on a unified operational model linking regulatory and service agencies through the "Joint Operations and Delegation Center," which is one of the most prominent transformations in the crowd management system this year.

The schedules were prepared taking into account pilgrims' accommodation locations and travel routes, relying on the use of designated transportation means, including buses and the Mashaer train, to ensure an orderly and safe flow to the Jamarat facility. This plan reinforces the positive results achieved in recent days, including the flow of pilgrims to the Jamarat facility on the morning of Eid al-Adha. Operations proceeded smoothly and without any congestion.

The plan underwent a series of accurate simulations before the start of the season, covering multiple scenarios of density and delays. Field teams were trained on rapid response and real-time coordination, ensuring full readiness to handle various operational situations.

On the technical side, the Ministry's Monitoring and Control Center continues to operate around the clock, supported by a network of smart cameras and a central tracking system, in addition to artificial intelligence technologies to monitor congestion indicators and redirect crowds when necessary. The digital "Nusuk" card contributed to controlling entry to the Jamarat facility according to the specified schedules, in integration with the "Nusuk" and "Tawakkalna" platforms.

The implementation of the grouping plans over the past few days, and the completion of the distribution of grouping schedules for the Days of Tashreeq, confirms the maturity of the operational system and its integration with the objectives of the "Guests of God Service Program," one of the programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, in providing a more organized, flexible, and quality Hajj experience.
