Misk city: Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City, known as Misk City, announced the launch of the University of New Haven's Riyadh branch through a strategic partnership with the University of New Haven. The new campus, set to commence operations in the Fall semester of 2026, marks the university's first presence in the region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the agreement was formalized with the signing by Misk City's Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Sami Al Jasser, and Dr. Leo Lester, Senior Vice President at the University of New Haven - Riyadh. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Badr Al Badr, CEO of Mohammed bin Salman Foundation 'Misk', Assistant Deputy Minister of Investment Fahad Alhashem, and Deputy Minister of Education for Investment Eng. Abdulrahman Alhajri, along with numerous sector leaders and guests.
The partnership underscores Misk City's dedication to enhancing its educational landscape and fostering disciplines such as innovation, artificial intelligence, and entrepreneurship. It also aims to nurture national talent and facilitate the integration of educational institutions within the city.
The University of New Haven - Riyadh branch will provide undergraduate programs in areas including Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Esports and Digital Games Management, Marketing, and Sports Management. Additionally, graduate programs will be offered in Artificial Intelligence in Business, Business Administration, and Strategic Leadership.
The university's accreditation by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) and its business program's accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) ensure that students at the Riyadh branch will receive degrees identical to those awarded at the main campus in Connecticut, United States.
Situated centrally within Misk City, the campus will offer students an educational experience designed to foster innovation and talent development, aligning with Misk Foundation's vision to empower youth and Saudi Vision 2030.
