Misk Community to Host Closing Ceremony of Innovation Diwan Program in Makkah

Makkah: The Mohammed bin Salman Foundation 'Misk,' through its Misk Community track, will host the closing ceremony of the fifth annual 'Innovation Diwan' program on Saturday. The closing event will be held at the Hilton Hotel and Convention in Makkah, in partnership with the General Authority for the Care and Management of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. According to Saudi Press Agency, the ceremony marks the culmination of a comprehensive development journey that began with more than 2,000 innovative ideas submitted by youth from across the Kingdom. The ideas underwent multiple evaluation stages to select the most viable for development. The journey advanced through a residential bootcamp focused on transforming concepts into practical solutions addressing challenges related to the Two Holy Mosques in areas including health, environment, and community engagement. The bootcamp served as a pivotal stage in the program, with 15 teams advancing to develop their solutions in an intensive environment combining training, mentorship, and prototype building. Following further evaluations of their progress and solution readiness, seven teams qualified for the final stage. Through its programs and initiatives, the Misk Foundation continues to empower youth, build their professional and knowledge capacities, and support their contribution to sustainable solutions that serve society and address national challenges. Such efforts are anchored in the foundation's vision of creating impact and promoting sustainable development.
