Jeddah: In its daily weather report, the National Center for Meteorology forecast continued moderate to heavy rains accompanied by hail and dust-stirring winds across parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, rainfall is expected to be light to moderate in parts of Madinah and Najran regions. Fog may form during the night and early morning hours along the coastal areas of Makkah, Madinah, and Eastern regions.
Winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 20-42 km/h, northwesterly to southwesterly, shifting in the afternoon to westerly to northwesterly at 12-42 km/h, and southeasterly to southwesterly at 10-50 km/h. Waves will range from half a meter to over two meters; the sea will be calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly at 10-25 km/h and northerly to northeasterly at 8-25 km/h. Waves will reach half a meter to one meter; the sea will be relatively calm.
