Kigali: Muslim World League (MWL) Secretary-General and Organization of Muslim Scholars Chairman Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa attended the graduation ceremony of 70,000 male and female memorizers of the Holy Qur'an, held in the Rwandan capital, Kigali, in the presence of numerous ministers, officials, scholars, and a large gathering of students.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the ceremony was held in honor of a distinguished group of Muslim sons and daughters who completed memorization of the Holy Qur'an, as part of educational programs and initiatives supervised by MWL in several countries around the world, particularly across the African continent.
The event featured a visual presentation outlining the MWL's efforts in teaching the Holy Qur'an through its institutes and centers, highlighting its memorization and training programs and their impact in promoting Qur'anic education.
The ceremony honored outstanding memorizers and teachers and highlighted their post-graduation achievements, underscoring the role of the Holy Qur'an in shaping excellence and leadership.
