Najran: Najran University, represented by the College of Engineering, won first place in the international student research competition for 2025. According to Saudi Press Agency, the university secured the top position with a research project developed by students from the College of Engineering and presented during the Second International Conference on Resilient Futures, hosted by the University of Jos in Nigeria. Titled "The Possibility of Transforming King Fahd Mosque in Najran into a Green and Sustainable Mosque," the project explored the application of green architecture and sustainability principles to develop the mosque and improve the efficiency of its resources. The achievement highlights Najran University students' ability to develop innovative research solutions that address local environmental needs while aligning with global trends in sustainable architecture and green building.
