Najran’s Valleys and Ravines Flourish with Vegetation Cover, Coinciding with Environment Week

Najran: Valleys and ravines of Najran Region have flourished with dense vegetation cover of trees and wild plants as a result of the heavy rainfall that recently fell on the region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Sidr, Umbrella Thorn Acacia, and Gum Arabic trees, with their abundant shade, along with flowering plants, have restored life to the region's valleys and ravines, as they have taken on a green landscape that combines the environmental and natural diversity of the region.

Najran Region is distinguished by its natural and environmental features and the diversity of its terrain, including valleys, ravines, and plains, in addition to its moderate climate throughout the year, which has contributed to the growth and diversity of vegetation cover.

Najran Region is participating in Environment Week through initiatives and programs that promote environmental sustainability, raise awareness of the importance of protecting natural resources, and encourage visitors to maintain the cleanliness of national parks and natural sites.
