Riyadh: The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GEOSA) concluded its National Geospatial Platform Forum 2025 in Riyadh on Wednesday. The one-day event brought together leading figures, experts, and representatives from government agencies working with geospatial data and information.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum featured key sessions on national geospatial governance, the establishment of the integrated national geospatial system, and efforts to raise awareness about the importance of geospatial information. The discussions aimed to enhance collaboration among stakeholders and improve the strategic use of geospatial data.
The forum also marked the launch of a geospatial awareness initiative. This initiative is designed to foster a culture of informed use of geospatial information across government, private, academic, and non-profit sectors.
