National Museum Marks World Arabic Language Day with Cultural Program

Riyadh: The National Museum, in collaboration with the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL), is organizing a cultural program to mark World Arabic Language Day, observed annually on December 18.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program is set to run from December 18 to 20, 2025, featuring cultural and intellectual dialogues that delve into the human and cultural dimensions of the Arabic language. One of the highlights includes a session examining traditional folk songs and the role of language in preserving heritage, as well as linking tools and crafts to the living heritage of Saudi communities.

The event offers visitors an opportunity to explore literary and cultural works through conversational-style book signings that facilitate direct interaction with authors. Workshops and musical performances will also be held, showcasing the richness and diversity of traditional crafts and arts. This initiative provides visitors with a cultural experience that blends discovery, knowledge, and the celebration of heritage.
