Nationwide Events to Mark Saudi Environment Week Tomorrow

Riyadh: Saudi Environment Week 2026 launches tomorrow in Riyadh under the theme 'Green Impact,' featuring weeklong programs and awareness campaigns held simultaneously across the Kingdom's 13 administrative regions to engage the public in celebrating environmental diversity and conservation efforts. The initiative aims to generate sustainable environmental impact by raising community awareness, protecting natural resources, and encouraging active participation in field activities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 by highlighting national initiatives and technological innovations. It also aims to strengthen partnerships between the public, private, and non-profit sectors to support sustainable resource development for future generations. The launch features participation from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture and several government entities, including the Ministry of Education, which will engage more than nine million students.

A national environmental exhibition will showcase technologies and success stories in environmental protection. Additionally, an interactive platform will facilitate cross-sector collaboration on future sustainability projects.
