King salman bin abdulaziz royal reserve: King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve continues to showcase its unique environmental richness and diverse wild vegetation, forming an integrated natural landscape that embraces various plant species, adding beauty and distinctive fragrances to its environment, most notably the "Hanwah" and "Al-Luwaizah" plants.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Hanwah plant is an annual herb in the composite family, widespread throughout most areas of the reserve. It reaches a height of about 15 centimeters and is distinguished by its branched, spreading stems and elongated leaves, as well as its fragrant yellow flower heads.
Similarly, Al-Luwaizah is a perennial shrub belonging to the rose family, found in valleys in the Harrat Al-Harrah area and present only in limited numbers across the reserve. It reaches a height of up to 3 meters, featuring green branches and narrow, serrated-edged leaves, followed by flowers ranging from white to pink and oval-shaped fruits.
