Madinah: The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has issued a red alert for heavy rainfall expected in the Madinah Region. The alert is aimed at informing residents and authorities of the potential impact of the weather.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the center indicated that the weather event will begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday. The conditions are expected to include gusty winds, reduced visibility, hail, thunderstorms, and flash floods.
The center has urged the public to take necessary precautions, adhere to safety guidelines, and avoid flood-prone areas and valleys to mitigate the risks associated with the adverse weather conditions.
