NCM Reports Significant Increase in Rainfall Rates Across the Kingdom in First Half of April

Jeddah: The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has issued a statistical report comparing rainfall amounts across regions of the Kingdom during the period from April 1 to 16, with the climatic averages for the reference period, based on data from NCM's staffed and automated monitoring stations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the report showed that the average rainfall across the Kingdom during this period reached 20.3 millimeters, compared to the normal average of 7.8 millimeters, recording an increase of 12.5 millimeters above the normal rate.

NCM stressed that this data supports the climate monitoring system and enhances the accuracy of analyses, enabling relevant entities to benefit from them in planning and taking necessary measures.
