Baghdad - The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, arrived on Thursday in the French capital, Paris, on an official visit in response to an official invitation from President Emmanuel Macron.
The Elysee Palace had announced earlier that French President Emmanuel Macron would receive the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, on Friday.
For its part, the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region announced that the two sides will discuss “France’s relations with Iraq and the region and the strengthening of joint cooperation,” in addition to “the situation in Iraq and the region in general.”
