Northern Borders: The Anti-Narcotics Department recently arrested an individual in the Northern Borders region for promoting hashish. The suspect was detained, and legal actions were initiated, leading to a referral to the Public Prosecution.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the General Directorate of Narcotics Control carried out the arrest. The security authorities have urged citizens and residents to report any information regarding drug smuggling or promotion activities. They have provided contact numbers for reporting such activities, including (911) for the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Madinah Al-Munawwarah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, as well as (999) for the rest of the Kingdom. Additionally, reports can be made through the General Directorate of Narcotics Control's reporting number (995). All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality.
