Jeddah: Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha received the League of Arab States' secretary-general for Palestine and occupied Arab territories, Ambassador Fayez Mustafa, and the African Union League of Arab States delegation head, Ambassador Ali Darwish.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meetings occurred on the sidelines of the consultative meeting hosted by the OIC General Secretariat. This meeting was part of the joint coordination mechanism among the three regional organizations to support the Palestinian cause.
The primary objectives of the meeting were to assess progress, coordinate efforts, and unify positions to support the Palestinian cause at this critical juncture. The discussions also focused on mobilizing international support at all levels to strengthen the resolve of the Palestinian people on their land and support their legitimate struggle to restore their lawful national rights.
