Riyadh: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the ongoing attacks by the Israeli occupation against innocent civilians and displaced persons in the Gaza Strip. The latest of these assaults targeted multiple areas, resulting in the deaths of 31 Palestinians and injuries to dozens of others.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the OIC held Israel fully accountable for the consequences of this heinous crime and urged the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to fulfill its responsibilities by ensuring Israel adheres to its commitments and implements the requirements of the second phase under Security Council Resolution 2803.
The OIC also emphasized the urgent need to open all crossings, facilitate the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid, withdraw Israeli forces, initiate early recovery and reconstruction efforts in the Gaza Strip, and resume a political process aimed at ending the Israeli occupation and achieving the two-state solution.
