Jeddah: Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hissein Brahim Taha met with Mohamed Salem Echarkaoui, Director of Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, to discuss the agency's ongoing social and humanitarian assistance initiatives in Jerusalem.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on the agency's support for children in Gaza, particularly orphans and those who have lost limbs. This effort is part of a broader mission to alleviate the suffering caused by the ongoing aggression by Israeli forces.
Secretary-General Taha commended the Al-Quds Committee of the OIC for its embodiment of solidarity and Islamic support for Jerusalem. He highlighted its role in safeguarding the Arab identity of the city and in enhancing the resilience and dignity of its residents.
