Riyadh: The Union of Radio and Television Organizations of the OIC Member States announced the start of filming for its new drama series, Arabic for All, marking a new step in advancing the union's mission to promote the Arabic language and strengthen cultural ties among its member states.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the series features 57 artists representing 57 Arab and Islamic countries in a production that reflects the cultural and civilizational diversity of the Islamic world.
The Union President Dr. Amr El-Leithy stated that the series forms part of the ongoing efforts to serve the Arabic language as the language of the Holy Quran and expand its reach among non-native speakers through modern media productions that combine creativity with advanced technologies.
Arabic for All is the union's second drama series designed to teach Arabic to non-native speakers. It follows the production of Arabic Simply last year.
